We originally thought this bonsai air-layering tool was designed for bark stripping for bonsai jin. Turns out it's for air-layering. However, we've tried it for bark stripping and it works! Here's what we wrote before we knew its actual prupose: This new bark stripping jin tool makes what used to be a time consuming task easy and quick. We tested ours on several types of branches (oak, larch and juniper) and it passed with flying colors. It has two settings, one for thin branches and one for thicker branches, but you can adjust it easily to any size up to almost 2" (5cm). The overall lenght of the tool is 6 & 5/8" (approx 17cm).
