When you wire your bonsai, you need proper bonsai wire cutters. Non-bonsai wire cutters just won't do when it comes to removing wire. Wire pliers are also very useful, especially for bending heavy wire. The more you work with deadwood (jin and shari), the more you understand the importance of jin pliers.
