Bonsai Tool Grades

Our bonsai and Japanese garden tools are the best. Quality steel, quality craftsmanship, quality performance. Try any of them and see for yourself. All are from Japan, the source of the finest bonsai tools in the world and none are the inferior knockoffs that you might find elsewhere.

To suit your needs and budgets we are offering two and in some cases three grades of most tools.
Professional Grade Tools

Although almost all Japanese tools are good, dollar for dollar, our Professional Grade Tools are the best. We have used most of these tools for years (many on a daily basis) and continue to be amazed at their superior performance and durability. They just keep cutting. With conscientious care they can last for years of daily use and at least a lifetime of weekend use.
Master's Grade Tools

The very best. Made in the tradition of the finest Samurai swords, with only the very highest grade steel and workmanship. With proper care these world class tools can last a lifetime of daily use and lifetimes of weekend use. And their soft, silky finish exudes the feel of quality. Don't be in a hurry to sharpen them, with proper use and care they can hold an edge for years.
Master's Stainless Tools
Beautiful to look at and great to use. Many people, especially those of us who forget to clean our tools, prefer stainless because they don't rust. Remarkably sharp and like the master's grade, they can last for lifetimes.
